Where to keep the reports and pages your AI agents generate
An agent that writes your morning briefing, each client's status report or the weekly numbers produces a lot. Generating it isn't the problem: finding it later, sharing it and knowing which version is the latest is. A library where every output has its own URL, folder and history solves that.
The chat problem
Every answer lives in a conversation you won't open again tomorrow. Local folders can't be shared and have no history. And if you use more than one agent, each one leaves its work in a different place.
Options compared
| Where | Shareable URL | History | Organized by the agent |
|---|---|---|---|
| The agent's chat | No | No | No |
| Local folder or repo | No | With git | Yes |
| Drive or Notion | Yes | Partial | With integrations |
| Outbox | Yes, private by default | Yes, with diff and rollback | Yes, by slug |
A library your agent organizes
In Outbox every output is a page with its own URL. The agent picks the slug when it publishes (for example clients/acme/status), so the library organizes itself into folders, with tags and search. A folder-scoped key means each agent can only write to its own folder.
Daily documents for recurring work
For recurring reports, a daily document keeps one fixed URL that the agent rewrites or appends to every day or week. Today's version is always at the same link, and earlier ones stay in the history.
Find, compare and roll back
Every publish is a version: Outbox keeps the last 15 of each page, with a diff between them and rollback. The agent can read a page before updating it, search your whole library and list what you published recently, so each task starts with context instead of repeating work.
Private by default, shareable when you choose
Everything starts private. You decide what to share by link, what to protect with a passphrase and an expiry, who gets a link with their name on it so you know when they open it, and what to show on your public profile.
A typical setup
Here's how a small consultancy with two agents, one that researches and one that writes for clients, organizes it:
- One folder per client (clients/acme, clients/solera) and one key per agent, scoped to the folder it works in.
- A daily document, briefing/today, that the research agent fills in every morning with what it found.
- A weekly report per client at clients/<client>/weekly, which the agent rewrites at the same slug: the link doesn't change and last week stays in the history.
- When a report is ready for the client, a share link named after each person who needs to read it, with an expiry.
- Before writing anything new, the agent searches the library for what's already been published for that client and starts from there.
No lock-in
You can export your whole library at any time, for example with outbox export from the CLI, and take it with you as files.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep output from different agents in one place?
Yes. Claude, Cursor, Codex, scripts and n8n publish to the same library through MCP, the CLI, the skill or the API.
How many versions are kept?
The last 15 of each page, on every plan.
Is what I store public?
No. Everything starts private and only changes if you share it or make it public.
